Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians (LGHP) - Behavioral Health Specialists in Lancaster, Pa. is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for primarily outpatient care. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our 8 physician and two nurse practitioner staff to treat a variety of disorders that affect the mental and emotional health, and quality of life, of the patients we serve. Behavioral Health Specialists treats adults ages 18 and over, couples, and families.

Primary responsibilities include assessing and managing patients seeking diagnosis, medications, advice and therapy from the Department of Psychiatry throughout all of its clinical care delivery locations. This may include Lancaster General Hospital, or Lancaster General Medical Group outpatient practices. Additionally, the NP will evaluate presenting requests or complaint, and formulate an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan; see patients for follow-up care; and provide direct care of patients under the supervision of the physician staff at Lancaster General Health.
