Nurse Practitioner Positions for Expanding Hospitalist Services Team

Hospitalist Services Team is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner (NP), to cover night shifts (5p-5a, 6p-6a, or 8p-8a). Weekday, weekend, shift work, holiday and on-call mat be required.  Program has clearly defined clinical pathways.

Successful candidate will have successfully completed an approved accredited program as acute care, nurse practitioner with appropriate certification exams.National certification in the area specialty and licensed by the Maryland Board of Nursing.NPI number, DEA and CDS required.BLS required.ACLS required.

Previous experience as NP preferred, but not required. Registered nurse experience in an acute care setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Floor calls,
• Admissions with orders and dictations.
• Back-up support is ICU APC, and nocturnist hospitalist.
• Work schedule is eight, ten, or twelve hour shifts available
  • Night shift (5p-5a, 6p-6a or 8p-8a).

    Nurse Practitioner will be a hospital employee with competitive salary and benefits package. Night shift has significant night differential in addition to base salary.
