Excellent Endocrinology Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (Fairfield County, 60 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a full-time 5^{th Endocrinologist to join our established and busy employed practice in Danbury, Connecticut. We located in suburban Fairfield County, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes four Endocrinologists, one APRN, and excellent support staff. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.}

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team with some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. The position is mainly outpatient with some inpatient consults at Danbury Hospital, located just minutes from the office, and telemedicine consults to New Milford Hospital. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations as we continue to grow the practice to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
