Providers see patients regularly and are measured on patient health outcomes rather than appointment volumes.  This quality of care has led to numerous certifications, including recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the NCQA, a Gold Seal of Quality, American College of Radiology accreditation for MRI and CT services, Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation for Vascular Testing, and Mammography accreditation from the Texas Department of State Health Services.  Our Urgent Care Clinics have received accreditation from The Joint Commission, earning National Quality Approval.  GMG UC Facilities are one of the few earning this distinction in San Antonio as well as South Texas.

We have also achieved 5-star performance (top rating) in the NCQA Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) program. NCQA has demonstrated that high performance levels in these measures improves patient outcomes and lowers the cost of healthcare. High quality care through predictive ‘measurable outcomes’ allows GMG to naturally lower-the-cost and be at the nation’s top 10% of  HEDIS scores & capitation performance.
