Internal Medicine

Optum is looking for a Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at our Pasadena Main clinic in Pasadena, CA. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. 

Position Details

• Join our team of 8 Primary Care physicians and one Nurse Practitioner
• Clinic Hours 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
• 40 minutes scheduled for new/senior patients, 20 minutes for follow-up appointments
• Providers at this site see an average of 18-20 patients per day
• Existing adult patient panel that will be inherited by our new provider
• No after-hours or weekend call responsibilities
• Two MAs assigned per provider: front and back office support to help with patient flow and experience
• Base salary with production incentives, full benefits, Paid Time Off, CME Allowance and more
  • Site has 19 exam rooms, office space for each provider
  • Lab on-site, X-Rays sent to local sites

    Requirements

    • Unrestricted CA State Medical License
    • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
    • BLS certification

      Preferences

      • At least three years of experience in Internal Medicine
      • Secondary language fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese
