West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team at The Rehabilitation Institute. 

Practice Highlights:
•    Newly remodeled inpatient / outpatient facilities 
•    Facility equipped with EMR and in room computers 
•    Work schedule is Monday through Friday with light telephone call; one weekend per month
•    Patient acuity includes: stroke, debility, hip/join replacement, tumors, spinal cord injury, amputations, head injury, trauma and other neurological and orthopaedic conditions. 

Job Duties to include:
•    Conduct History & Physicals; Discharge Summaries; Progress Notes 
•    Round on patients with the Medical Director
•    Consults on Acute Care

Experience with inpatient medicine a plus!  

The Institute is a 58-bed comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation hospital accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is the only comprehensive medical rehabilitation hospital in the Pensacola service area.  The Institute is also a designated the Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program for the Panhandle of Florida by the FL Department of Health. 

The Rehabilitation Institute is adjacent to West Florida Hospital's 500-bed acute care hospital offering rehabilitation services early in the patient's recovery. As a result of this close proximity, various medical support services are readily available when needed, including emergency medical care, x-ray and lab services.
