The outpatient clinic setting offers a focused work environment with dedicated radiology technicians, ultrasound technicians, and strong support staff to ensure efficient patient care and professional satisfaction.

Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic

Job Details:
• Provide diagnostic radiology services with mammography and biopsy privileges in an outpatient clinic setting
• Read studies of all modalities including diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
• Perform wire localizations, biopsies, and other breast procedures (average 13 per month)
• Interpret screening mammograms (average 225 per month) and diagnostic mammograms (average 30 per month)
• Read PET scans when available and other studies including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound as comfortable
• Support emergency department and inpatient radiology reading during day shifts
• Work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm schedule with no call requirements
• 2 weeks per month commitment for 9-12 month duration starting in August
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology required (Board Eligible considered)
• Active California medical license required
• BLS/ACLS and DEA certification required during credentialing
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• 90-120 day credentialing process for hospital and foundation privileges
• Work with Cerner EMR system and experienced support staff
• Teleradiology backup available for studies outside comfort zone

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
