We are assisting a community-academic medical center in their search for a Radiation Oncologist. This is a hospital-based practice with plenty of volume and diverse cases. The cancer care team comprises medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and gyn oncology.
Practice Highlights:
- Support staff of 5 radiation therapists, 2 RNs, 2 physicists, and 3 dosimetrists.
- Interest in Brachytherapy is important
- HDR with Varian Bravos for prostate and GYN
- Technology: Varian IX with ExacTrac for SRS and Trilogy, BrainLab, Aria, Eclipse, MIM, CT sim
- PET and MRI for simulation/ diagnostics
- Access to clinical trials through the University of Kentucky
- Teaching opportunities available to residents and medical students
