Inland Northwest Behavioral Health in Spokane, WA is currently recruiting a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. 

The new addition to our group of Physicians and NPs will be per diem only for nights and/or weekends on the Inpatient units.  A fully staffed support team is ready to assist the new Practitioner in meeting the unique Psychiatric needs of patients on the unit.  The practitioner must be available to travel into the hospital if needed while on call.

The compensation structure can be that of an independent contractor with reimbursement for patient contacts or shift work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualifications for the position are the minimum requirements needed to be successful in the position. The level of experience and expertise for the job is determined by the current amount of expertise in the unit/department. If training or experience is not required but would be desirable, it is listed as preferred however; persons without preferred background will be considered in the hiring process.

Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications).

1. PhD or Master’s Degree in Nursing from recognized school of nursing
2. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Washington or willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Washington.
3. Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health
4. Current National DEA Certificate
