Adventist Health Clear Lake is actively seeking a mission-minded psychiatric nurse practitioner to join our busy and growing behavioral health team in beautiful Northern California. The ideal candidate is a BC/BE physician who is excited to provide compassionate care to patients in one of the small towns in Adventist Health’s Northern CA region.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a provider who wants to live in a beautiful, family-friendly community and work with established providers in an under-served patient population. Although this position is full time, part-time options are available. This option is to be employed with our affiliated medical group to work within the multi-specialty rural health clinic which is 100% outpatient. No call is required and a Monday through Friday 8-5 schedule is preferred. Patient referrals come from 7 different towns surrounding Clearlake with a patient base of 30,000. Facility has a high HPSA score.

Experience with electronic medical record is helpful as our clinics use Cerner.

Candidates must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.

Adventist Health Clear Lake (AHCL) is a 25-bed Critical Access medical center in Clearlake, California, serving Lake County. Services include 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT mammography), home care, ICU, laboratory, maternity, physical rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, surgery, and three rural health medical offices that provide behavioral health, dental care, family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, podiatry and specialty health care services.

In 2016, AHCL had 1,663 admissions, 170 deliveries, 21,770 emergency visits and 61,075 outpatient visits. The medical center is staffed by more than 40 physicians, 417 employees and 51 volunteers.
