Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified
Schedule: Blocked
Shifts: 24 hour shift
Shift Responsibility: Rounding and admits
Procedures: Lumbar punctures, intubation in emergent situations (this is rare and anesthesia and respiratory are always on-site to assist, and urine catheters (nurse usually performs)
Vents: No
ICU: Closed
Codes: Attends but does not run
Day Census: 5 to 10
Backup: Yes
EMR: Paragon
Trauma designation: Level III
License requirement: AL license preferred but might look at a pending license or active compact license
Privileges: 60 days
