Pathology

Pathology Associates of Idaho Falls (PAIF) seeks to hire a board-certified AP/CP pathologist with subspecialization and/or fellowship training.  Clinical practice experience is required.  The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong diagnostic skills in all aspects of general surgical pathology, as he/she will be expected to join our sign out rotation, which includes an equal share of the surgical pathology workload.  In addition, the candidate should have a desire to be an active member of the local medical community, the ability to communicate well with others, and a good sense of humor.  Preference will be given to applicants with GI, GU or derm specialty training, but any subspecialty training will be considered.  We are unable to offer J1 waivers. 

 

Our practice is comprised of a team of 4 pathologists that manage a busy broad spectrum surgical pathology service and provide clinical oversight for multiple laboratories.  We enjoy a collegial, hardworking office environment and take pride in providing excellent service to our patients and local physicians.  We offer an opportunity to be part of a well-established and successful practice. 

 

PAIF is centered in Idaho Falls, ID.  We are a community of approximately 61,000 with two major medical centers and rapid growth in recent years.  Idaho Falls is located just hours away from Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  Eastern Idaho provides a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities including backpacking, alpine and Nordic skiing, hunting. fishing, and biking.
