Facility:

This facility is a small, 25-bed critical access hospital serving the local community with approximately 120 births per year. The OB/GYN department, while small, consists of a skilled, tight-knit team dedicated to providing exceptional care. The team includes OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs working collaboratively to serve patient needs.

Opportunity: Board Certified - OB/GYN

This locum tenens position requires a provider with strong GYN skills to fill coverage gaps in 2025. The ideal candidate will be available for multiple shifts between September and December 2025, including some weekday and holiday coverage.

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for various shifts throughout September-December 2025
• Provider will be on call most days listed and may have combined clinic and on-call duties
• CNMs take first call; OB/GYN is typically only called for complications
• Perform routine GYN exams and procedures including:
  • Endometrial ablation
  • IUD insertion/removal
  • Menopausal management
  • Failed medical management
  • Urinary incontinence treatment
• Maine medical license or IMLC required
• Board certification required

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Comprehensive travel package covers flights, lodging, and transportation expenses.
