Charleston Area Medical Center is recruiting to employ an additional BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to join a thriving Hospital ID practice. Call will be 1 in 5.  

Excellent hospitalist team with limited after hours obligations. Practice in a medical community that has all specialties and sub-specialties well represented.  Stimulating patient mix from a 350,000 person primary referral area.  Level 1 trauma center and 100+ ICU beds and challenging referrals from busy oncology, interventional cardiovascular, renal transplantation, neurosurgery/spine, plastics/reconstructive, urology, and GI services.  Outpatient clinics including HIV, HCV, OPAT and office ID. 

Practice in a medical community that has all specialties and sub-specialties well represented.  Active clinical research opportunities and residency teaching with the West Virginia University School of Medicine's 170+ residents and fellows is available. Our comprehensive regional medical center has state-of-the-art microbiology, telemedicine and information systems.
