General Surgery

Parkview Regional Hospital is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join a busy multi-specialty clinic located adjacent to the hospital in Mexia, Texas. Parkview Regional Hospital is a 58-bed acute care facility that serves the residents of Mexia and the surrounding towns. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a broad range of general surgery.

Mexia is conveniently located 40 miles to the east of Waco, with the DFW Metroplex a short 90 minutes north and Houston 2.5 hours southeast. Abundant lakes allow outdoor enthusiasts plenty of opportunities for hunting, fishing, boating and other water sports.  A town rich in oil boom history, there are a number of festivals and events that happen in the community each year, including art shows, concerts, live theater and the annual Boomin' on the 4^{th Festival in July.} 

A small municipal airport for private and corporate craft is located on the outskirts of Mexia; Waco Regional Airport is 45 minutes away; Dallas Love and DFW are about 90 minutes away; IAH and Houston Hobby are about 2.5 hours away.
