This facility is a well-established cardiac care center within a larger medical system in Fort Smith. The cardiology department provides comprehensive care for patients with various heart conditions and is known for its STEMI response program. The facility features modern equipment and a collaborative team environment with hospitalist support for admissions.

Opportunity: Certified - Cardiology

Job Details:

• In-house call position with STEMI response responsibilities
• Call response time: 1 hour for in-house calls, less than 30 minutes for emergency/STEMI calls
• Average 24-hour call volume: 20-25 patients
• Typically see 15-20 patients per shift
• No admissions unless STEMI cases (hospitalist service handles routine admissions)
• Must have clean malpractice record and NPDB
• Active Arkansas license required (expedited credentialing possible for the right candidate)
• Board certification required
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Position begins September 15, 2025 with ongoing opportunities
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
