Cardiac Surgery - Cardiovascular Surgery

Mount Carmel Health System has an exciting full time employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiovascular Surgery at Mount Camel East, Mount Carmel Grove City or Mount Carmel St. Ann's located in Columbus, Ohio.

The selected candidate will coordinate inpatient care for all patients; round on all patients to ensure continuity of care; assure appropriate care coordination is implemented for individual patients and initiate and lead performance improvement activities with a focus on achieving top quartile on clinical indicators.

This opportunity will have a primary location of Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel Grove City or Mount Carmel St. Ann's and occasionally provide coverage on the other campuses.

Candidates with one to two years of experience is preferred as well as new graduates with a Cardiothoracic rotation. Candidates should also have a strong clinical assessment and analytical skills and be self-directed professionals with strong organizational skills.
