PEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY CHIEF

The Medicus Firm is proud to conduct a national search for a Pediatric Pulmonology Chief for a not for profit, academic health system and children’s hospital in the central southern part of the US. The division chief will lead 2 physician faculty and 3 advanced practice providers in pediatric pulmonology.

Highlights include:

• Department support to hire additional faculty to build the premier respiratory program for the state.
• Opportunity to expand on programs already established: the home vent program & cystic fibrosis center.
• Collaboration with Congenital Heart surgery program.
• Opportunity for appropriate candidates to also be the Vice Chair of Research.

The desired candidate will be an innovative academic physician leader who will work closely with administrative leadership to operationalize a strategic plan that ensures world class care for the children of the state.
