UPMC Susquehanna is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient care within a Federally Qualified Health Center outpatient setting.

Essential Functions: Provides continuous and comprehensive services which promote optimal mental health, prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work within Laurel Behavioral Health and Laurel Health Centers as assigned. He/she will work collaboratively with a Psychiatrist of record. Medical oversight will be provided through a practice agreement with a collaborating Psychiatrist. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide patient evaluation and determine a differential diagnosis and a plan for treatment intervention.

Qualifications: Two years clinical experience required. Current NP Registered Nurse License and NP Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner designation/Physician Assistant license. Psychiatric Specialty Certification is required. Needs to maintain RN and CRNP/PA-C licensure and ANCC certification. Prescriptive authority and DEA Certification in the State of Pennsylvania. Requires CPR Certification and Maintenance of required CME. Experience using EMR and E-prescribing preferred. UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
