Experienced PICU Physician to help build a NEW unit in Harrisburg, PA

A hospital in Harrisburg, PA is building a NEW Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and is seeking a BC Pediatric Intensivist to help build their team! This is a full-time, permanent, and employed position.

• Brand NEW 11-bed universal unit to open this fall
• High acuity ED patients
• Support: In-house anesthesia, In-House Pediatric Hospitalist will be supplementing care for complex patients
• Virtual support from a Children?s hospital in Pittsburgh
• Procedures: In house pediatric sedations, pediatric MRIs, supporting any consults through ED ? pediatric resuscitation needs throughout EDs or anywhere in Harrisburg Hospital. 
• Hospital currently has a 15-bed Pediatric Unit with Pediatric Hospitalist on staff 24/7 

Ideal candidate will be a Board Certified Pediatric Intensivist with post training experience. Physicians with ties to Harrisburg and/or a PA license are strongly encouraged to apply!
