Family Medicine

  The Staff Physician works as part of the health care team performing a variety of patient-centered services including assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, implementation of treatment plans, and monitoring of follow-up for patients.  Physicians also assist in supervision of community health center PA's or NP's as appropriate.

1.         Obtains complete medical history from patient, and/or family, and/or previous medical record, etc.

2.         Educates the patient and family member on the patient’s diagnoses’ and treatment options within scope of knowledge and authority.

3.         Coaches and supports the patient in self-management of their health.

 4.         Teaches and counsels patients and families in a culturally sensitive manner.
